AUVENLISSA GUIDANCE

Size & Care

A considered guide to choosing, placing and caring for your AUVENLISSA table runner. Designed for seasonal celebrations, everyday tables and the small surfaces that make a home feel personal.

THE AUVENLISSA TABLE

A little detail,
a different room.

AUVENLISSA table runners are designed to bring pattern, colour and a sense of occasion to the surfaces you already use. From Christmas gatherings and Halloween dinners to spring brunches, coastal summer lunches and autumn entertaining, each piece can be styled across a dining table, coffee table, console, sideboard or mantel.

01

The sizes,
made clear.

One width, three lengths.

Our current table-runner collection is offered in three practical lengths. Each runner measures approximately 13 inches wide, making it easy to layer over most dining tables and furniture surfaces without overwhelming the setting.

SIZE IN INCHES IN CENTIMETRES BEST FOR
Small 13 × 47 in 33 × 120 cm Coffee tables, entryway consoles, smaller tables and dressers.
Medium 13 × 59 in 33 × 150 cm Four-seat dining tables, buffets, sideboards and longer consoles.
Large 13 × 71 in 33 × 180 cm Six-seat dining tables, long rectangular tables and mantel displays.

Measurements are approximate. A small variation may occur during cutting, finishing and production. Please check the product page before ordering, as individual designs may include scalloped borders, pointed ends or other decorative edge details.

02

Choosing the
right length.

For dining tables

A runner looks most balanced when it extends beyond both ends of the table. For a relaxed finish, allow approximately 6 to 10 inches of overhang at each end. Choose Large for a longer table or a fuller, more decorative look.

For consoles & sideboards

Select a length that sits comfortably inside the outer edges, or allow a gentle drape if the surface is narrow. Medium is often an easy choice for a hallway console, buffet or sideboard.

For coffee tables

Small creates a focused decorative layer without covering the entire surface. Add a tray, candleholders, a vase or a bowl on top to give the setting height and dimension.

For seasonal styling

Use one runner as the starting point for the season. Pair festive prints with candlelight and natural details, or add flowers, fruit and relaxed tableware for a lighter everyday setting.

03

Pattern &
finish.

Every runner is made to feel expressive.

AUVENLISSA designs feature illustrated seasonal motifs, from gingerbread, holly and poinsettias to pumpkins, black cats, woodland animals, florals, bees, sailboats and sunflowers. Pattern placement, proportions and small visual details may differ slightly between runners. This is a normal part of producing an all-over printed design.

Colours may also appear a little different depending on your screen, room lighting and surrounding décor. For the clearest reference, please use the product photographs and written description together when choosing a style.

04

Care, made
simple.

Keep the print looking its best.

Always follow the care instructions supplied on the individual product page or product label where available. For everyday upkeep, treat your runner as a decorative textile and use a gentle approach.

  • Everyday care Shake out crumbs after use and spot-clean small marks promptly with a soft cloth, mild soap and cool water.
  • Washing Where washing is suitable for the item, choose a gentle cycle with cold water and mild detergent. Wash with similar colours.
  • What to avoid Avoid bleach, harsh stain removers and strong scrubbing, which can affect printed details, colour and decorative edges.
  • Drying Air-dry flat or hang to dry where possible. Avoid high heat, which can place unnecessary stress on decorative textile finishes.
  • Pressing If needed, use a low heat setting and place a thin cloth between the iron and the printed surface. Do not press directly over delicate trim.
  • Storage Store clean and fully dry runners folded in a cool, dry place. Keep seasonal pieces away from direct sunlight when not in use.

05

Styling beyond
the table.

Made for more than one moment.

An AUVENLISSA runner can travel through the home. Use it along an entryway console to welcome guests, across a sideboard for a seasonal display, beneath a centrepiece on a coffee table, or over a mantel for a softer festive layer. Keep open flame, hot cookware and heavily coloured liquids on a protective tray or heat-safe surface rather than directly on the textile.

For gatherings, start with the runner, then add only a few complementary elements. A vase of flowers, a bowl of fruit, taper candles or serving pieces are usually enough to let the pattern remain the focal point.
